The minister of Agriculture announces the release of 160 thousand tons of feed for 82 million dollars

Mr. Al-Quseir, Minister of Agriculture and land reclamation, announced that during the period from June 9 to June 15, 160 tons of corn and soybeans were released for about 82 million dollars.

 He added that the release included 118 thousand tons of corn about 42 million dollars and about 42 thousand tons of soybeans worth about 31 million dollars, as well as feed additives about 9 million dollars to make the total of what was released during the period from October 16 to June 15, 5.8 million tons, including 4.3 million tons of corn, 1.5 million tons of soybeans and feed additives for a total amount of 2.8 billion dollars.

 "Al-Quseir" stressed that the release is aimed at providing quantities in the markets of corn and soy, which are the basic ingredients for poultry feed and also farm animals.

 The minister of Agriculture explained that there is continuous follow-up and full coordination with the central bank and with the support of the prime minister personally to release appropriate quantities of corn, soybeans, raw materials and feed additives from Egyptian ports to support this industry.
